In the event of unavoidable lateness, and if possible, we will transfer your tickets to the next available performance (subject to availability and company discretion).

The Small Print
HEALTH & SAFETY
-
The health and safety of our audiences and team members is our highest priority. Stewards will be on hand to ensure safety around the site. First aid trained staff will be available on site throughout the performance.
-
We will light the main performance route, and stewards will be equipped with radios and torches in the event of an emergency.
-
We ask all audience members to take care when moving around the site in case of trip hazards. There will be areas of darkness so we recommend bringing personal torches.
-
All under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
ADVERSE WEATHER
-
Hansel & Gretel is an outdoor, walking performance without cover for either the staging or the audience for approximately half of the experience. The performances are designed to go on in inclement weather. We recommend that our audiences come prepared for all eventualities of a British Winter. Please avoid using umbrellas, especially during the performance.
-
We will not cancel a performance due to weather unless we deem it unsafe for either audiences or performers to continue and we will never cancel a show before the advertised start time - this is because you'd be amazed how often it can rain all day and then clear up in time for a show. If the weather is considered not to pose risk to either performers or audience the show will go on.
-
If the weather does pose a risk to performers or audience, a decision will be made the Stage Manager, Producer and Arnos Vale Duty Manager to cancel the show. We will arrange a transfer of your tickets were possible, access to our filmed performance, or a refund.
CANCELLATIONS & EXCHANGES
-
All ticket sales are final and non-refundable except in certain specific circumstances. But we understand that sometimes life throws things at us that mean we need to change our plans.
-
If you need to change your tickets more than a week prior to your performance date, we will transfer them to a suitable alternative of the same ticket value (subject to availability). If there are no other performances available we may offer access to our filmed performance. No refund will be offered should you choose not to attend.
-
If you need to cancel your ticket due to COVID-19 at any time we will arrange the transfer of your tickets to the next available performance, access to our filmed performance should you need to self-isolate, or a refund. Proof may be requested.
-
Tickets cannot be exchanged with less than a week's notice, please therefore check your booking confirmation carefully!
-
In the event of a cancelled performance we will transfer your ticket to an available performance, offer access to our filmed performance, or provide a full refund. Please note this does not apply to government imposed lockdowns due to COVID-19. If a show has to be cancelled mid-performance we will try our best to exchange tickets, but this is subject to availability. We will offer access to our filmed show if none is available.
-
All refunds and exchanges are subject to availability. An admin charge may be incurred at the company's discretion.
ANTISOCIAL BEHAVIOUR
-
Insane Root reserves the right to ask anyone displaying antisocial behaviour to leave the premises with no refund offered. We operate a policy of zero tolerance for Weapons and Controlled Drugs. Flammables and spray paints will not be allowed onto the site.
ANIMALS
-
Unless specifically stated, only assistance dogs are permitted onto site during the performance period.
