Macbeth Casting Begins

We had some fantastic meetings with local (and not so local) actors today, looking to recast three roles for our 2016 production. We loved seeing them tussle with the witch language - putting them through a swift "bootcamp" with the lovely Ellie Showering, as well as present speeches, folk songs and trying out a scene or two. The life of an Insane Root actor is an intense and demanding one, so our auditions try to reflect this - luckily all the professionals we met were more than up to the task and we have an exciting (and daunting) decision ahead.
